We had a typical two-up, two-down Victorian terraced house, initially bought as an investment property. Ten years later, we found ourselves living in the same property and decided to extend it..

Sigrún’s plans were functional yet aesthetically stunning and had our instant buy-in. She was instrumental in getting the planning permission as we wanted to add one bedroom on the first floor and there was no such precedent in our conservation area.

She was skilful at managing the whole project and was pragmatic at finding solutions to any problems we encountered. She was always very generous with her time. Her experience also helped us tremendously in choosing the right colours and fixtures.

From having a tiny kitchen, we now have a spacious kitchen with a beautiful yellow-brick party wall and glass roof, and no matter what the weather outside, it always looks beautiful from our kitchen. My children have their individual bedrooms and our terraced house is a comfortable family home now. We are very happy in our extended house. All thanks to Sigrún, without whom none of this would have been possible.
